Bill Kollar joins Sonny Holland, Jan Stenerud, and Don Hass as the only Bobcats whose jersey numbers have been retired. He earned All-America honors in 1973, and his MVP award in the 1974 Shrine Bowl college all-star game was the precursor to a long and successful NFL career. Kollar was a three-time First Team All-Big Sky choice, leading MSU to the 1972 Big Sky Championship. Following his playing career Kollar coached in the NFL for many years.
