Athlete…and...Administrator…Three-sport all-conference standout…Professional Baseball Pitcher…MSU Dean of Men.
A talented three-sport athlete at Montana State from 1925-28…Earned four letters in basketball and baseball and three in football (freshmen were not eligible)… A three-time all-Rocky Mountain Conference selection in football and basketball… Earned both a bachelor’s degree (1928) and master’s degree (1939) in education from MSC… Earned a special “M” award made of gold, was selected for MSC’s Septemviri and Les Bouffons and president of the Sigma Chi Fraternity… Pitched professionally for the Salt Lake City Bees, the San Francisco Seals and the Washington Senators… Was Montana State’s Dean of Men from 1947-64.
