The NCAA Skiing Committee announced today the 74 men, and 74 women selected to participate in the 2025 National Collegiate Men's and Women's Skiing Championships, held March 5-8 at Hanover, New Hampshire. Dartmouth College hosts the championships.
Participants are selected on a regional basis from two designated regions for alpine skiing (East and West Regions) and three designated regions for Nordic skiing (Central, East and West Regions). Bids are awarded to regions using a formula determined by the skiing committee. A maximum of 12 student-athletes (three per gender per discipline) may be selected from an institution.
Fielding complete teams of twelve are Dartmouth, Denver, Colorado, Utah, and Vermont, while Montana State and New Hampshire have the next largest contingent with eleven. Twenty-three programs will vie for this season's national championship.
Earning their way to the national championships from MSU are Gianluca Boehm, Jamie Casselman, Isak Staurset (men's alpine), Ylva Falksete, Tea Kiesel, Justine Lamontagne (women's alpine), Grey Barbier, Gavin Galyardt (men's Nordic), and Katey Houser, Kate Oldham, Anna Pryce (women's Nordic).
Boehm, Lamontagne, Staurset, and Pryce will each be participating in their third NCAA championships, Oldham her second, while Barbier, Houser, Falksete, Kiesel, Casselman, and Galyardt will be making their debut in the Blue and Gold.
Boehm, a junior from Samedan, Switzerland, is a three-time Second Team All-America in the alpine events on the men's side, while Lamontagne, a junior from Mont Sainte-Anne, Quebec, garnered First and Second Team All-America accolades in 2023.
Leading the Nordic contingent is Kate Oldham, who earned First Team All-America honors last season, and this winter, captured the U.S. National Cross Country 10K Freestyle title.
Alpine events will be held Wednesday, March 5 and Friday, March 7 at Dartmouth Skiway. Nordic events will run on Thursday, March 7 and Saturday, March 9 at Oak Hill Outdoor Center.
This year's skiing championships will be webcast live on NCAA.com.
