The Montana State volleyball team released its spring schedule which features four matches, including a home scrimmage on April 26 against Providence.
The Montana State volleyball team released its spring schedule which features four matches, including a home scrimmage on April 26 against Providence, Bobcat head coach Matt Houk announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bobcats, who are led by Second Team All-Big Sky Conference libero Lauren Lindseth, return seven letterwinners and freshman-redshirt Makenzie Jackson.
Montana State opens its spring ledger against Gonzaga, March 29, in Missoula. The match will be played at Sentinel High School. MSU and rival Montana square-off April 12 in Missoula, before the Bobcats face Utah State, April 19 at Thunder Ridge High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
In addition to the eight returners, Houk welcomed two freshmen who joined the Bobcats at the start of spring semester- setter Teagan Jaynes and outside hitter Elli Tufto.
"I am excited to compete with this group," Houk said. "They are doing some nice things in the gym right now that have us very anxious to compete against other teams. These matches should be good tests for us. We will learn a lot and they will be a great indicator of what our strengths and weaknesses are."
