Bobcat Men's Basketball Honored for Academic Excellence

MSU team, seven individuals earn accolades
BOZEMAN, Mont. (July 18, 2025) – The National Association of Basketball Coaches named Montana State men's basketball a recipient of its 2024-25 Team Academic Excellence Award and seven student-athletes to its Honors Court on Thursday.
The Bobcats earning individual honors are: Brian Goracke, accounting, sr.; BJ Kolly, business, jr.; Sam Lecholat, kinesiology, sr.; Jed Miller, business, jr.; Jabe Mullins, coaching, gr.; Chika Nduka, business, sr.; Tyler Patterson, coaching, sr.
The NABC honored more than 400 programs for completing the 2024-25 academic year with a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher out of 4.0. With more than 2,400 individual honorees, Honors Court members include junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
