BOZEMAN, Mont. (July 29, 2025) – Montana State running back Adam Jones became one of 30 players comprising the 2025 Preseason Walter Payton Award Watch List, Stats Perform announced Wednesday.
Jones earned 2024 Big Sky Freshman of the Year and 2025 Preseason Big Sky MVP honors after a redshirt freshman campaign when he gained 1,172 with 143 rushing touchdowns to set MSU freshman records. He bookended the campaign with a 93 yard touchdown run in the season-opening win at New Mexico and an 88-yard run in the regular season finale against UM.
