MSU debuts new indoor practice and competition facility
BOZEMAN, Mont. (August 4, 2025) – Montana State University and Bobcat Athletics officially opens the Kennedy-Stark Athletic Center with a grand opening on August 18 at 4 pm inside the new practice and competition facility.
The event marks the first opportunity for Bobcat fans and the general public to experience the new structure, which is named for legendary Bobcat Track and Field coaches Dale Kennedy and Rob Stark. The turf surface of 100 yards offers an enclosed practice area for the MSU football team, while the six-lane track offers the Cats an indoor training and competition venue with jump, vault and throwing areas.
The event will feature a short program, a ribbon cutting and an open house. It is free, and the public is invited.
