Dr. B.T. Cooper is the CPS psychologist embedded in Athletics. He helps Bobcat student-athletes with mental performance including goal setting, visualization, positive self-talk, and referral for clinical consultation and services
Cooper brings nearly two decades of clinical, professional and academic experience to his role and holds degrees from Ohio State (BA, Psychology, Criminology, 2010), Cincinnati (MS, Criminal Justice, 2012), and Florida State (MS, Sport Psychology, 2017, and PhD, Counseling and School Psychology, 2022). He provided performance consultation with a variety of teams at Florida State, taught and lectured in several courses at FSU, and has extensive research experience.
