Bobcat Spikers Fall to Bears

Northern Colorado out-hit Montana State .398 to .103 and held a commanding 11 to 1.5 advantage in blocking as the Bears cruised to a 25-15, 25-15, 25-12 win over the Bobcats, Friday night in Shroyer Gym.
Northern Colorado (8-7, 1-2) also held the edge in kills, assists, aces and digs. The Bears were paced by Andrea Spaustat, who finished with 11 kills, a .733 attack mark and five blocks.
Montana State (3-12, 0-3) was led by Natalee Godfrey with eight kills, a .278 attack percentage and one block. Defensively, the Bobcats were led by Eli Svisco with nine digs, while Kennadie Clute and Kasey Schlatter added eight and seven saves, respectively.
MSU will host North Dakota on Saturday night in Shroyer Gym.
