"Heading into the weekend we knew we were up against a wall in having to win all three matches to make the Big Sky Tournament," MSU Head Coach Denise Albrecht said. "It's disappointing we didn't get the job done, but playing the season with just one full-time starter from last year along with six sophomores and a freshman, and to battle with two teams that made the tournament down to the wire, gives us a good look for what the future holds. Hopefully, the things we learned this weekend will carry over into next year and make us a stronger team."
Montana State finishes the season 11-13 overall and 4-7 in Big Sky Conference action.
