Bobcat Women’s Tennis Team Downs MSU Denver

Montana State received victories at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles to take the first point of the match en route to a 5-2 win over MSU Denver on Saturday afternoon at Denver Tennis Park.
Montana State received victories at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles to take the first point of the match en route to a 5-2 win over MSU Denver on Saturday afternoon at Denver Tennis Park.
The Bobcats won four of six singles matches as it had to default at the No. 6 due to injury. Singles play was highlighted by Marta Garcia-Reboredo's 7-6 (4), 6-3 win over Isabel Heras at the top spot. Also posting singles wins were Mirte Van Baelen, Felicia Jayasaputra and JJ Chen.
"Today, the team showed great resiliency in both doubles and singles," said MSU head coach Suzie Woodburn. "It truly took everyone to get the team win. We competed well and are excited for conference to start next weekend."
The Bobcats will play at UC Davis next Saturday, before opening Big Sky action at Sacramento State on Sunday afternoon.
