Honors recognize achievement in the classroom by men’s basketball teams and individual players
BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Montana State men's basketball team earned plentiful recognition from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for its achievements in the classroom during the 2025-26 season, collectively earning the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award while six individuals were named to the NABC Honors Court.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognizes college basketball programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court honors junior, senior, and graduate student players who finished the academic year with a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher.
Montana State's 2025-26 NABC Honor Court recipients include Christian King, Chris Hodges, Davian Brown, Grayson Gaddis, Jed Miller, and Seth Amunrud. Brown and Miller took home the honor for the second time in their careers, while King, Hodges, Gaddis, and Amunrud each received their first career honor.
Montana State received the Team Academic Excellence award for the third-straight year and has earned the honor during each of head coach Matt Logie's three years at the helm of the program. The Bobcats have placed six or more players on the Honors Court for three-straight seasons.
