Both coaches will serve as assistant distance coaches for the track & field and cross country teams starting with the 2026 cross country campaign. Additionally, Trey Brokaw will serve as the program-wide recruiting coordinator. Montana State's coaching staff now stands at seven members.
"We are very fortunate to add coaches to the track and field staff with extensive experience," Weese said. "Coach Trey has had success at institutions with wide-ranging characteristics and varying responsibilities. This includes experience as a head coach and a program director. He is known for his dedicated work ethic and his ability to recruit high-level performers. Coach Trey will serve as our recruiting coordinator in addition to coaching distance-event student athletes.
