Montana State (2019) First Team CoSIDA Academic All-America... MSU's representative on the Big Sky Community Service squad... played in all 15 games, starting one, at Buck... logged 12 tackles, including four at Texas Tech. (2018) Played in all 12 games... one assisted tackle, behind the line, in opener... single tackles against EWU, ISU, UNC. (2017) Played in six games as reserve lineman and long snapper. (2016) Redshirted at MSU.
High School Chosen for the 2015 Shrine Game... helped Dillon to state Class A titles in 2013 and ‘14, and a runner-up finish in 2015... logged 99 tackles... a team captain who was conference defensive MVP.
Academics A mechanical engineering major... born Kyle James Finch in Dillon... one of two children of Nate and Kim Finch, Dillon-area ranchers... his father played football at Montana, an uncle Aaron played at CSU, and a cousin, Christopher Finch, played hockey at Amherst.
