Indoor (Freshman): Appeared in four meets … Set college bests in the 60 (8.32) and the 200 (27.41) at the MSU Indoor Open on Feb. 7 … Completed her best time of 1:02.90 in the 300 at the MSU Dual Meet Invitational (Jan. 24) … Had a season-high individual finish of sixth.
Background: Earned multiple gold medals while competing for Cheyenne Mountain High School … Capped senior season in 2019 by helping anchor 4x100 relay to state title for the third straight year … Placed seventh in the 200 and earned silver in the 4x200 relay … Ran a personal-best time of 57.69 seconds in the 400 in the prelims at the state meet … As a junior at the 2018 CHSSA 4A State Championships helped lead Cheyenne Mountain to its second straight state team title ... Also finished fifth in the 200 and seventh in the 100 at the state meet … Set lifetime best marks of 12.54 seconds in the 100 and 25.43 seconds in the 200 … Made her first state championship appearance as a freshman, competing in the meet in both the 4x200 and 4x400 relays and earning a bronze medal in the 4x200 … Helped set school records in the 4x100 and 4x200 that season … As a sophomore claimed an individual third-place finish at the state championship in the 200 and took 10th in the 100 … Also added a silver medal that year in the 4x200 … Earned five letters in track and field … Plans to major in biology.
