Montana State and the Bengals get together in Worthington Arena
Payback is first and foremost on Idaho State's minds Friday night when the Bengals visit Worthington Arena for a Friday night showdown between teams looking to improve their lot in the Big Sky standings. Idaho State stands 3-6 in league play, while the Bobcats are 6-4, and both teams feel heat from conference foes above and below. Dynamic wing Amorrow Morgan paces the Bengals with 18.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per outing, while mercurial guard Broderick Gilchrest scores 15.0 points with 3.2 assists per outing, while providing Will Bynum a serious challenge for the Big Sky's lead in steals per game (Bynum is at 2.2, Gilchrest 2.1). Montana State was doomed by a dreadfully slow start at NAU and struggled to the finish line at Northern Colorado, but in between played very good basketball on last weekend's two-game road swing.
