Bobcat Men's Tennis Wins Big Sky Opener Sunday

Cats top Northern Colorado in Greeley
Montana State wrapped up a weekend trip to Colorado in style, topping Northern Colorado 5-2 to win its first Big Sky match of the season.
The Bobcats took the long way around, dropping the doubles point before taking command by winning the first four singles matches to clinch the victory. Alex Flink's 7-5, 6-3 win over Hayden Cramer got MSU on the board, and in quick succession Rok Sitar and Jose Torrico each registered wins before Flink sealed the win. Kasper Parlklo won at No. 5 singles, as well.
Montana State dropped a pair of matches in Colorado Springs to open the weekend. Missouri-Kansas city earned a 4-2 win over MSU on Friday, with Sitar taking MSU's only singles win at No. 2. On Saturday, Air Force took a 6-1 win over the Bobcats. Torrico earned MSU's win.
The Bobcats travel south next weekend, playing at BYU on Saturday and Utah on Sunday.
