Bobcats Complete Second Round at Big Sky Women’s Golf Championship

Janelle Reali and Kelly Hooper both fire 80's on Saturday to lead the Bobcats in Round 2
BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The Montana State women's golf team finished its second round of play at the 2017 Big Sky Championship Saturday, April 22, at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The Bobcats sit in 10th place after 36 holes behind their second consecutive 329 of the weekend. Sacramento State leads the team standings with a 598 and is followed by Idaho (601) and Portland State (611).
Senior Janelle Reali and freshman Kelly Hooper both shot 8-over-par 80 to lead the Bobcats Saturday. Hooper and freshman Delaney Elliott (81-81) are tied for 31st with 162 strokes over two rounds. Reali is in 48th after improving eight strokes from round 1 to round 2 for a total of 168.
Junior Jaylee Tait is tied for 49th with a 169 (81-88) after two rounds at the Big Sky Championship. Freshman Coral Schulz rounds out the MSU lineup as she sits in 57th with a 175 over two days.
Northern Arizona's Sofia Anokhina is the individual leader at 1-under (143) and she's followed by Idaho's Clara Moyano (145) and Sacramento State's Sofie Babic (146).
