Montana State will close out a span of five games in 11 days when it visits Wyoming on Friday, Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Arena-Auditorium (The Doom of Dome) in Laramie.

The win was Tricia Binford's first over a top 30 team as South Dakota State entered ranked No. 27 in this week's AP Top 25 and No. 2 in the CollegeInsider.com Mid Major Top 25. The Jackrabbits were coming of a 65-55 win over No. 4/10 Louisville in Paradise Island, Bahamas on Nov. 21...MSU is one of the most prolific programs in the country when it comes to the free throw line. The Bobcats are first in the Big Sky Conference and No. 12 in the nation in free throws made per game (17.75). They are tops in the Big Sky and No. 25 in the country in free throw attempts per game (23.38). As a team, the Bobcats shoot 75.9% at the line, which is second in the league and 46th overall. MSU's Darian White is first in the Big Sky and No. 5 in the nation with 59 free throw attempts and first in the Big Sky and 8th in the country with 41 FT makes.
THE SCOUTING REPORT: Wyoming is 3-3 overall with victories over Denver, Regis, and UC Davis. The Cowgirls dropped a narrow 66-64 decision to No. 23 Gonzaga on Nov. 15 in Laramie. It's other two setbacks have come at North Dakota (67-55) and at Pacific (67-53). Wyoming has been paced this season by Quinn Weidemann and Grace Ellis, who average 12.7 and 12.2 per game, respectively. Weidemann is the Cowgirls top outside threat, connecting on 12-of-31 three point range (38.7%). Under the boards, Wyoming is led by Allyson Fertig, a 6-4 sophomore center from Glendo, Wyo., who is pulling down 9.3 rebounds a game. The Cowgirls are under the leadership of first-year head coach Heather Ezell.

Since the 2012-13 season, Montana State has gone an impressive 107-31 (77.5%) overall and 72-22 (76.6%) in Big Sky Conference play on its home court. During that span - from the start of the 2015-16 Big Sky season to the beginning of the 2017-18 league play- MSU rattled off a 19-game home court win streak in Big Sky action. Overall, in her 18 seasons at Montana State, Binford is 154-71 (68.4%) and 102-47 (68.5%) in Big Sky play in Worthington Arena.
