Camille Chantron, Harrison Janes take singles wins
Camille Chantron and Harrison Janes won singles matches, but Sacramento State took the team dual 5-2 in Sacramento on Thursday.
Sacramento State won the doubles point with wins at the top two ladder spots, and then took singles matches at the first and third singles spot to take a 3-0 lead. Camille Chantron got the Bobcats on the board with a straight-sets win at No. 4. The freshman won 6-2, 6-2. Harrison Janes closed out the match by taking a 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-6) win at the bottom ladder spot.
MSU is now 2-15 on the season, while the Hornets are 9-7. The Bobcats return to action with home matches March 29 against Idaho and March 30 against Portland State.
