BOZEMAN, Mont. (July 22, 2025) – Montana State added firepower to its men's tennis squad Tuesday, signing freshman Ethan Masselis, Bobcats head coach Mateus Ceolin announced.
The Épone, France, product comes to MSU from Lycée Notre-Dame de Kerbertrand and later at Collège Benjamin Franklin in his home country. He earned a regional championship on the French junior tennis circuit, holding a 1/6 French national ranking. He punctuated his standing as a one of France's top young players with strong international experience, excellent academics and an 11.55 career UTR.
""I am excited for the addition of Ethan Masselis to our team," Ceolin said. "He will be coming in as a freshman and with the highest UTR on our team. He will add a lot of depth to our roster and I can't wait to get on court and start working with him."
