Montana State (2019) An injury in fall camp has knocked him out of the starting lineup for the time being and limited him to three games, preserving his senior status in 2020... logged two tackles against Sac State and three at UND... preseason All-Big Sky. (2018) Honorable Mention All-Big Sky... started the last eight games... 10 tackles in the Montana and Incarnate Word games combined... leads the team with eight pass breakups... one tackle in debut vs. WIU... first career start came against EWU, when he made six tackles, including one for a loss... also picked off a pass and broke up another... his second interception of the season, which came against Weber, was MSU’s first pick-six of the season... tipped a Northern Colorado pass that was intercepted by his roommate Jahque Alleyne.
Compton College Unanimous All-American Metro League 1st Team and All-California Region IV 1st team choice... picked off five passes at Compton, with 39 tackles and a forced fumble.
High School Graduated from Paramount High in 2015, playing there as a senior (2014)... also played at Long Beach Jordan (2012-13) and Compton High (2011).
Academics and Personal Enrolled in University Studies... both Gregory Filer III in 1997 in Compton, California... one of six children of Gregory Filer Jr. and Dana Mitchell... his brother John Ross III played at the University of Washington and is with the Cincinnati Bengals.
