2018-19 Season
Indoor (Freshman): Competed in two meets for the Bobcats … Member of 4x400 relay at Bobcat Preview (Dec. 1) that finished second in a time of 3:53.82 … Took second in the 60 with a time of 8.08 seconds at the MSU Open (Jan. 11) … Did not appear in any other events rest of season.
Outdoor (Freshman): Did not compete in any meets.
High School: Graduated from Manhattan Christian High School in 2018 … Highly decorated student-athlete that participated in multiple sports for the Eagles … Helped lead Manhattan Christian to the MHSA Class C State Track and Field Meet championship as a senior … Earned first gold medal in 200 during prep career by finishing in lifetime best mark of 26 seconds … Placed third in the 400, second in the 800 and second in the long jump … Also helped lead Eagles’ 4x400 relay by anchoring it to a bronze medal for a total of five podium appearances … Had three individual first-place performances at the 2017 state track and field meet … Captured gold in the 400, 800 and long jump at the Class C championships … Broke own school and divisional record times in the 400 and won the event all six times as a junior … Was a two-time state champion in the 800 … Clinched first gold medal as a sophomore by finishing first in personal-best and school-record time in the event … Originally broke school’s 400 and 800 record times in 2016 … Took second in the 400 and third in the 800 at the state meet as a freshman … Letter four years in volleyball and track and field, twice in basketball and once in cross country … Team captain in all sports appeared in … All-conference and Academic All-State recognition in each sport … A National Society member and was named a Rotary Student of the Month honoree.
