The Montana State women's basketball squad faces a crucial weekend of Big Sky Conference action as they reach the mid-way point of the league season. MSU is currently 9-10 overall and 2-4 in BSC play. Both Montana State opponents- Northern Arizona and Northern Colorado- also enter the weekend with a 2-4 conference mark. Sacramento State is also in the log-jam for the fifth spot, as well. NAU is currently 4-15 overall, but have knocked off Portland State and Weber State in the past two weeks. The Lumberjacks are led by freshman phenom Amy Patton, who averages 18.1 points and 8.5 rebound per game. Last weekend, the Tempe, Ariz., native notched 31 points and 17 boards at Sacramento State. UNC will play at Montana, before making the trip down I-90. The Bears are 9-10 overall, but have dropped four-of-its-last five games.
