The Montana State women’s basketball team will conclude its current home stand against Northern Colorado, Saturday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m., in Worthington Arena.

UNC has captured the last three meetings between the two Big Sky Conference rivals. MSU's last win over the Bears was a 66-58 victory in Worthington Arena on Jan. 16, 2016. Montana State is 7-3 against Northern Colorado in the friendly confines of Worthington Arena.
NO PLACE LIKE HOME: The Cats saw the nation's second longest home court win streak snapped against Portland State on Jan. 11. The loss broke MSU's 31-game home streak, which was second to national power UConn (72). Before the loss to the Vikings, Montana State's last defeat in Worthington Arena was a 62-49 decision to San Diego on Nov. 24, 2015. MSU has won 34 of its last 35 games in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. On another note, the Cats are averaging 2,556 fans per game, which ranks 46th in the nation and is the second best total in the Big Sky Conference to Montana (3,060) and ahead of programs such as North Carolina, Alabama, Oklahoma State and seven of the twelve Pac-12 schools.
THE NITTY GRITTY: According to the Jan. 29, 2018 NCAA Nitty-Gritty rankings the Bobcats are currently ranked #201 in the country. The highest Big Sky Conference listing belongs to Northern Colorado at #39, followed by #133 Weber State, #144 Portland State, #146 Idaho, #154 North Dakota and #160 Idaho State. Ranked behind Montana State is #203 Eastern Washington, #233 Montana, #284 Sacramento State, #303 Southern Utah and #328 Northern Arizona. The Bobcats finished the 2016-17 season ranked #59 - its highest finish ever.
RECORD-SETTING NIGHT: It only took three-minutes and 50-seconds for Hannah Caudill to find Blaire Braxton on the right block. Braxton gathered the ball and kissed it off the glass to give Caudill her 444th career assist and the all-time Montana State record as the Bobcats knocked off North Dakota 72-56 on Thursday night in Worthington Arena. Caudill finished the game with eight assists to break Vicki Heebner Carle's mark of 443. Caudill has 450 career assists. "I'm really proud of Hannah," said MSU head coach Tricia Binford. "It is a special accomplishment and goes to the consistency she has shown for four years."
FUN FACTS: Montana State ranks first in the Big Sky Conference and fourth in the nation in three-point field-goal defense as its opponents are shooting just 25.8 percent from long distance. On the offensive end, the Bobcats are ranked second in the league and seventh in the nation averaging 10 3-pointers per game.
