Philippova Remains Undefeated in Big Sky Action; Cats Fall at Northern Arizona

Philippova produced MSU’s only point of the match with a straight set 6-4, 6-1 decision over Northern Arizona’s CoraLynn Von Dungern. With the victory, Philippova is 5-0 in Big Sky play and 8-5 overall. The product of Astrakhan, Russia is 7-3 in her last ten outings.
Montana State senior Angelina Philippova remained undefeated in Big Sky Conference action running her winning streak to six consecutive matches but it wasn't enough as the Bobcat women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to league-leading Northern Arizona on Friday afternoon.
Philippova produced MSU's only point of the match with a straight set 6-4, 6-1 decision over Northern Arizona's CoraLynn Von Dungern. With the victory, Philippova is 5-0 in Big Sky play and 8-5 overall. The product of Astrakhan, Russia is 7-3 in her last ten outings.
The Bobcats will play at Southern Utah on Saturday morning in Cedar City.
