MSU Women Host Two Matches in Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center

The Montana State women’s tennis team will host a pair of Big Sky Conference matches, beginning Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. against Weber State. The Bobcats will close out the weekend against Northern Arizona on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Both matches will be held at the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center.

Montana State (3-13, 1-6) will be led by its one-two punch of Laura Mary and Annie Walker. Mary has notched an 8-7 overall mark and is 5-2 in Big Sky Conference action playing at No. 1 singles. Walker, a sophomore from Las Vegas, Nevada, is 7-8 overall and 4-3 in league matches.
Weber State (12-7, 5-2) is sitting in fourth place in the Big Sky standings and are paced by Pei-Hsuan Kuo at the top spot. Kuo is 6-9 overall and 2-5 in conference action.
One of the best matches of the weekend could happen on Saturday as Northern Arizona's (9-8, 5-1) Chiara Tomasetti squares off with Mary. Tomasetti is undefeated on the season at 16-0. She also sports a 6-0 league record. The Lumberjacks are sitting a ½ game back of Idaho who is sits atop the league standings.
